The Department of Veterans Affairs, Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with BioTek for the Synergy HTX mulit-mode reader. This is the only multi-mode microplate reader that is compatible with6- to 384-well microplates, has dual reagent injectors to automatically dispense reagents in all detection modes, has dual optical system combining monchromator, has top and bottom fluorescence detection, able to read AlphaScreen and AlphaLISA assays, has a dynamic range >6 decades, controls temperature to 50 degrees Celsius with a 4-zone temperature control system, and is modular and configurable for separate absorbance, fluorescence and luminescence readers. This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, July 31st, 12:00, EST.
