The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bruker Daltonics, Manning Park, Billerica, MA 01821 for 1-Year maintenance/service agreement for its AutoFlex TOF/TOF Series MALDI-TOF/TOFMS System and MicrOTOF FOCUS Bench-top Orthogonal ESI-TOF MS System. Based on extensive market research conducted with knowledgeable individuals in Government and the related industry, only Bruker Daltonics is able to provide trained personnel capable of providing service for this equipment. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement or submit quotes to this office by 9:00 AM, EST, Friday, April 20, 2007 by e-mail at [email protected]. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. In order to be considered for an award, an offeror must have completed the online electronic Representations and Certifications located at http://orca.bpn.gov/ in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database.
