The Microscope system includes the following components: 1) Integration of FV1000 with external IR laser, includes installation, alignment, beam steering optics and safety enclosure, quantity one (1) each, 2) 3 channel Non-confocal Detector 3 channel non-descanned detector for laser scanning imaging, includes dichroic mirrors and barrier filters, quantity one (1) each, 3) Objective Inverter Adapter objective adapter optimized for laser scanning with RMS objective threads for the Olympus FV1000 microscope, quantity one (1) each.
The brand name determination is based on the Governmentâs requirements of an upgrade and existing FV1000 Laser Scanning Microscope system to support the mission of Salivary Gland in research conducted within NIDCR. The purchase is to coexist with Coherentâs Chameleon Ultra and components. The LSM Technologies, Inc., meets the entire requirement for an upgrade Laser Scanning and Image Acquisition, and is the only known system that meets the governmentâs minimum needs.
The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees which are applicable for this requirement. This requirement is a small business set-aside. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures.
