This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for one each (1) commercial multichannel potentiostat, prepared in accordance with Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR
Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes are
being requested under N66001-13-T-7482. This requirement is set-aside for
small business, NAICS code is 334515 and the business size standard is 500
employees.
Multichannel potentiostat minimum specifications:
1. On-board electronics for performance electrochemical impedance
spectroscopy (EIS) from 10 microHertz to 1 MHz.
2. Noise and ripple equal to or less than 20 microVolts rms.
3. Data acquisition each 10 microsecond (100 kHz).
4. Current range of 1 A to 10 nA in a decade sequence.
5. Electrically isolation from ground to allow electrochemical
experiments to be performed on grounded samples.
6. Voltage resolution of 1 V and current resolution of 3.3 fA
(femtoamps).
7. Capability of interfacing with a commercial Electrochemical
Multiplexer to perform automated sequential electrochemical experiments.
8. Engineered so one computer can control up to 32 Potentiostats.
9. Ability to operate as a stand alone unit or in a compatible hub that
can accommodate 8 total potentiostats, and maintains floating operation of
those units.
10. Compatible with commercial software to perform a wide variety of
electrochemical experiments such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,
electrochemical frequency modulation, cyclic voltammetry, pulse voltammetry,
and DC corrosion.
11. Data acquisition performed by scripts that can be modified for
custom experiments.
12. Data analysis performed by scripts that can be modified for custom
analysis.
13. Warranty for a minimum of two years.
Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price
purchase order to the lowest bidder meeting the specifications.
