USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) intends to issue a sole source award to Illinois Tool Works, Inc. DBA Instron, 825 University Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062, to furnish and deliver accessories for an Electropuls E3000 including one 3kN Pneumatic Fatigue-Rated Wedge Action Grips, two Compression Anvils, one Dynamic Extensometer, one Flat serrated jaw face, and one Vee jaw face for gripping round specimens. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees.

The Government intends to procure from only one source under the test program for commercial items per FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The ERDC requires accessories for an Electropuls E3000 including one 3kN Pneumatic Fatigue-Rated Wedge Action Grips, two Compression Anvils, one Dynamic Extensometer, one Flat serrated jaw face, and one Vee jaw face for gripping round specimens.
