Notice of Intent to award as a sole source requirement to Buehler LTD for a Buehlervanguard 2000 Automatic Metallographic Sample Preparation System. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.203. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who believes that they can provide the required item should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman no later than 12:00 PM (noon) EST, April 3, 2006 at [email protected].
