The Naval Air Warfare Center has a requirement to procure a 1000-1K proving ring, a 1000-3K proving ring, and a 1000-6K proving ring for the Metrology Laboratory. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Morehouse Instruments Company 1742 Sixth Ave, York, PA 17403. They have proprietary rights to the design, engineering and data documentation which are currently installed in the Calibration Lab at NAS Patuxent River. This contract is due to be awarded in the amount of $39,750.00. If another offeror believes they can provide this product, they are encouraged to contact the point of contact listed in this announcement. Any responses received will be evaluated solely to determine if a competition can be held. The finished upgraded item will be delivered to NAS Patuxent River, MD. This requirement is a Simplified Acquisition and as such will be procured under the authority of FAR part 13.
