The USDA, ARS, NPA, U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (MARC), Clay Center, NE has a requirement for a real-time thermocycler-detector system to be used for diagnostics, genotyping and quantification of gene expression. The system shall be capable of accommodating at least 96 samples, illumination and detection of each well individually for all dyes, and capable of thermal gradient programs for up to 24oC across the entire well sample block. Software for control and analysis of the unit shall allow viewing of results during a run, and change of analytical settings after a run for recalculation of results.
