This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. The United States Air Force (USAF), air Force, Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Contracting Division (AFDW/A7KM), intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to The Surgical Equipment People to repair a leak at the proximal end of bending rubber, replace insertion tube, adjust angulation safety and conduct a function test. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302.1(2)(b)(1)(i), the propoerty or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations.
