The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source, Ruska Instrument Corporation for a requirement of brand name Pressure Calibrators, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Market research has demonstrated that for this specific requirement only Ruska Pressure Calibrators meet the Agency’s needs and are 100% compatible with the existing calibration system. This Firm Fixed Price procurement is conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposal. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 2 April 2004 will be considered nonresponsive and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement on a full and open competition basis upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
