The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a Purchase Order on a non-competitive sole source basis to Cepheid, 904 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA. The FDA intends to purchase SC2500N3-1 Smartcycler System 1 Unit Upgrade LS processing block to add to an existing Smartcycler System manufactured by Cepheid. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. FDA intends to make an award seven (7) days from the date of this notice. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
