The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Cepheid, 904 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, California 94089. The contractor shall provide the following instruments: Item No. 1. Part No. SC2000N2-1, Smart Cycler II TD – (Transportable Device) System Processing Block with 15 Independent Reaction Sites, each with 4-Color Optical Excitation and Detection, Laptop Computer, Software, Operator’s Manual, Tube Racks, Cooling Block, Mini-Centrifuge, 25UL Reaction Tube (Qty 100), Custom Case for transporting Smart Cycler, Laptop and Accessories. Item No. 2 Part No. 900-0081, Smart Cycler II Upgrade, Kit includes: 16 Version II I-Core Modules, Smart Cycler II Upgrade Manual, Smart Cycler II Software 2.0, 12 Month Warranty. The instruments shall be shipped to the FDA located in Dauphin Island, Alabama.
