SOLE-SOURCE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Rohde Schwarz, Inc, 8661 Robert Fulton Dr, STE A, Columbia, MD 21046-2265 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). This is being sole sourced because Rohde Schwarz, Inc. is the OEM and owns the proprietary data associated with this supply. No formal solicitation will be issued and this is the only notice that will be published. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of the determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirements are as follows: 2 ea P/N SMR-20 - Signal Generator - with options B5, B11, B14, B15, ZZA-21 Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted on FedBizOpps and NECO.
