NASA/JSC intends to purchase the items from AiTech Defense Systems, INC.
The project requires the two SPO 3UCPCI SBCS AiTech PN(1SP0M-R111310-00) to match existing hardware currently being developed by the AES Avionics and Software project. Critical software and redundancy algorithms have been developed on this hardware platform thus requiring identical hardware to insure this development phase to be successful. The additional hardware, namely the SP0 VXWorks 6.9 Board Support Package AiTech PN (BSP-VXW-SP0s) and the two each Transition Modules for SP0 AiTech PN (TMSP0-XX) are required to accommodate the unique configuration of this hardware for this portion of the task.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
