The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure one ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS), and Infrared (IR) Spectral Test Station built around light sources, a monochromator, a collimator, a positioning stage for the device being measured, and a mounting table. The system shall be capable of easily changing the scan spectrum anywhere between wavelengths of 250 nanometers (nm) and 14 micrometers (micron). The light source band should be computer selectable. The collimated beam of light being presented to the test item shall be a minimum of 4 inches in diameter. The spectral test station shall have sensor(s) measuring the system output over the 250 nm to 14 micron range. The solicitation will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 8/3/07. The solicitation will close on or about 8/23/07. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ).
