Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement

Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 10, Roudebush VA Medical Center,1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202, intends to negotiate an open market sole source contract under FAR (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).  Only One Responsible Source for these brand name/proprietary supplies listed below is available through the original equipment manufacturer.

The associated NAICS code for this is 334516. The vendor will be Thermo Fisher Scientific LLC, 28 Schenck Parkway, Suite 400, Asheville, NC 28803.

A firm fixed price contract with no option years is anticipated and shall be awarded.  It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement.  It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source.
