The Department of Veterans Affairs, Atlanta VA Health Care System to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 13.106-1, for Roto-Gene MDx from Qiagen, LLC. This is a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machine (AKA thermocycler) needed to examine gene expression levels. This equipment will improve the ability to analyze and characterize gene regulation and expression. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement and who is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller of all the items listed above, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office to the contracting office no later than Friday, May 14, 2021, 12:00 PM, EST. However, those statements shall describe in detail how the vendor can meet or exceed the Veterans Affairs requirements.
