Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Pittsburgh VA Medical Center, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, with Itamar Medical Ltd for Medical EndoPat 2000 system. The system will be used to support clinical trail studies being performed by the Research Department at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare system. The system is capable of identifying high risk patients at the earliest stage of their cardiovascular disease. Itamar Medical Ltd developed and markets diagnostic medical equipment based on its proprietary Peripheral Arterial Tone (PAT) Technology. The Itamar EndoPAT is the only FDA-cleared pulse amplitude tonometry (PAT) testing equipment for the non-invasive assessment of Endothelial Dysfunction (arterial health which is required by the VA for their research. This is a notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than July 8th, 12PM, EST.
