The U.S. Geological Survey, EROS Data Center, Sioux Falls, SD has a requirement for Eastman Kodak Color Aerochrome Duplicating Film or an equivalent product which will meet the following salient characteristics: a) The film size shall be 9.5"x250'; b) The color duplicating film shall be compatible with the E-6 film process; c) The emulsion shall be wound emulsion in, non-perforated, with no leader or trailer; d) The film shall be a 7 ml. ESTAR base (or equivalent) with fast drying backing; e) The film shall be a low contrast duplicating film with a gamma of 1.00 to 1.10; f) The film shall have a RMS granularity value of 9 when read at a net diffused density of 1.00 with a 48-micrometer aperture; g) The film resolving power on a low contrast target shall produce 63 line pairs per mm., and on a high contrast target shall be 125 line pairs per mm; h) The film shall be packaged to a Kodak SP957 standard. Reel dimensions are as follows: core diameter (inches) 2 1/8"; flange diameter (inches) 6 5/8"; and the reel material shall be black painted steel; i) Manufacturer of the film is Eastman Kodak Co. The film is manufactured in Rochester, New York. Quantity is 150 each and film shall be delivered FOB Destination by February 1, 2002. The estimated issued date of the Request for Quotation is OOA December 21, 2001. Quotations are due OOA January 4, 2002 by 3:30 p.m. Denver time.
