Sources Sought Notice The Wilkes Barre VAMC is located at 1111 East End Boulevard, Wilkes Barre, PA. This facility has an onsite structure for storing road salt. The approximate inside dimensions of the structure is 48 Lx28 Wx28 H to allow for larger truck deliveries. The facility uses the road salt to keep its roadways and sidewalks free from ice and snow throughout the winter months. Requirements: The contractor shall supply and deliver to the facility up to 250 ton of pretreated road salt. The salt must remain effective to negative 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Period for deliveries will be between 10/21/2019 to 03/31/2020 Deliverables: All deliveries shall be Monday through Friday. No deliveries will be received on Federal Holidays and/or Weekends. The contractor shall schedule deliveries before the facilities normal business hours of 7:00 AM or after hours of 6:00 PM The contractor must schedule all deliveries with the facilities ground s supervisor one week in advance. This is not a not a request for quote or proposals. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing all of the items required within the delivery timeframes needed. If your company is not capable of providing all the required items, please list the items that you do have the capability to provide. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice.
