The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for production and delivery of 50,000 standard liters of commercial Gaseous Xenon in Cylinders, NSN 6830-01-478-6047, 99.999%, Grade (EW), IAW Purchase Description Xenon, Technical, Dated 25 Aug 03. Xenon is used in the research laboratories at Edward AFB, California, for development of improved thruster performance. The procurement will result in a six-month requirements type contract. The Contractor shall provide all production supplies, management, tools, equipment, labor, and any raw materials necessary for the manufacture of high purity (99.999%) Gaseous Xenon to be delivered FOB Destination in 50 each 1000-liter contractor-owned cylinders. Services for leasing contractor-owned cylinders are included in the procurement. The performance period shall be from 01 Apr 07 through 30 Sept 07, with the entire quantity of 50,000 Liters to be delivered NLT 25 Apr 07.
