This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

26,460 LBS, ISOPHORONE DIISOCYANATE, IPDI. Isophorone Diisocyanate in accordance with Military Specification MIL-DTL-82886A. Within this MILSPEC document, vendors shall conform to all references made to Weapon Specification WS16305C, dated 1 JUL 77, and all PBXN-109 requirements.

Material shall be shipped in 55-gallon drums with anti-static liners. Metal drums shall be new, palletized and banded. Lots shall not be mixed on pallets. 60 Drums at approximately 441 Lbs each.

Certificate of Conformance, Certificate of Analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet are required with the solicitation and with each shipment.
Expiration date shall be printed on packaging.

No Rail Deliveries will be accepted.

Contractors may be required to submit a 5-pound sample of Isophorone Diisocyanate (IPDI) for testing prior to award of this contract. If the 5-pound sample is requested, the contractor shall have FOUR (4) weeks from notification to provide the sample to the Government. The address
where the sample is to be sent will be provided with the notification for the sample.
