This requirement is sole sourced to Fluorochem, 680 S Ayon Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, as they are the only qualified and approved vendor to produce this proprietary product. Fluorochem’s unique method used to attach the azide to the CAPA 7201, results in a product which, when mixed into the propellant formulations results in mixtures that is low enough in viscosity to pour easily into the rocket motor and other mods used in cast-cure processes. Fluorochem is the only known company with this particular conversion.
