This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for 22,500 Liters ofXENON (XE) RESEARCH 99.999% grade with the following product specifications: AR < 1PPM, C2F6 < 0.1 PPM, CF4 < 0.1 PPM, CO + CO2 < 1 PPM, H2 < 1 PPM, H2O < 1PPM, KR < 5 PPM, O2 < 1 PPM, N2 < 2 PPM, THC < 0.5 PPM, Total Impurities <10 PPM in the following bottle sizes: 3X5,000 Bottles & 3X2,500 Bottles The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC _2005_-38 http://nais.nasa.gov/far/ ]. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 325120, 1000 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for thisprocurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA GLENN RESEARCH CENTER, 21000 BROOKPARK ROAD, ATTN: RECEIVING AT B-215,CLEVELAND OHIO 44135-3191 is required within 20 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOBDestination. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 2/17/2010 and must include,solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule,discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number(TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, CYLINDER RENTAL CHARGES, CYLINDERREPLACEMENT COSTS. and be signed by an authorized company representative.
