The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order for Training Support Packages (TSPs) to Battelle Memorial Institute (Cage Code 79986) located at 505 King Avenue, Columbus OH 43201. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513 and the size standard is 500 employees.

The supplies required were developed to work with the Chemical Vapor Sampler System (CVSS). Battelle has developed the TSPs with specific part numbers for use with the CVSS. The package designed is proprietary to Battelle for the particular purpose of collecting and storing vapor samples for use on the Stryker - Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle [Stryker-NBCRV].

The proposed action will be solicited on the basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(b), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The proposed effort will be procured in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures.
