12 September 2016 Update to Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) Manned Module Modernization (M3) DRAFT Technical Data Package (TDP) Notice:

The purpose of this 12 September 2016 update to the special notice for the United States Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) Manned Module Modernization (M3) requirement is to inform industry that all intended "teammates" must also provide the following to receive access to the DRAFT Technical Data Package (TDP) for this requirement, which will be available on or about 16 September 2016:

1. Full Name of Company/Organization
2. Company's/Organization's address
3. Company's/Organization's Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code
4. Full Name of Company's/Organization's Facility Security Officer (FSO)

The DRAFT TDP that will be available on or about 16 September 2016 is different from what was previously released in July.

Information relative to security requirements for the CCTT M3 effort will be included at a future date in the DRAFT solicitation.

The intent of this notice is to provide industry with DRAFT requirements documents and to encourage industry to submit questions, comments, suggestions, and corrections regarding perceived unnecessary or inefficient requirements. Potential Offerors are encouraged to comment on all aspects of the DRAFT documents and identify unnecessary or inefficient requirements for the CCTT M3 effort that may improve the final solicitation.

PEO STRI has conducted market research regarding the CCTT M3 requirement. It has been determined that the CCTT M3 solicitation will be a full and open competition, if any is issued.

CCTT M3 SITE VISIT:

APM CCTT is providing an opportunity for industry to tour a CCTT fixed site as a further effort to clarify the Manned Module Modernization (M3) requirement prior to a Request for Proposal (RFP). The afternoon will begin with a guided tour and conclude with a question and answer session.

Due to system availability, the dates/times of the Site Visit have been modified. A partial set of systems will be available on June 23 and the remainder will be available on June 24. Therefore, industry should plan to attend the Site Visit over the course of two days in order to see a full set of representative systems.

The Site Visit dates/times are as follows:

Date: June 24, 2016 from 9am - 12pm

Please provide input on specific aspects of the site and/or system that should be addressed and submit any advance questions to the ACC-Orlando POC.

Please note that if an insufficient number of companies pre-register, the site visit may be canceled.

No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your responses. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary information in any resultant solicitation(s).
