Cold weather training provides the skills necessary to operate and survive in the high altitude terrain and perform under the extreme conditions faced at high altitudes under cold weather conditions. The MMG (Mountain Mobility Group) Miniature Haul System and PCU (Protective Combat Uniform) were developed to increase efficiencies in cold weather maneuvering. The design of the MMG Haul System allows the user to move gear and equipment while ascending and descending through terrain. The PCU is the uniform utilized by Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The MMG Haul System and PCU are utilized during the training in order to increase students? techniques and improve proficiencies. It is necessary that the instructors are proficient in their instruction with the MMG haul system and PCU in order to maximize training.
