The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Presagis USA INC, 1301 W. President George Bush STE 120, Richardson TX 75080, for one (1) year Maintenance and Support for the VAPS Rehost System. This purchase is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. Presagis is the designer and original equipment manufacturer for this support. Presagis is the cataloged Source of Supply in the Navy Supply System for these items. Currently, Presagis is the only vendor that has developed and has proprietary right for this item. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Registration may be accomplished by accessing the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/. Anticipated award date will be on or about 05/04/11.
