The following is a Sources Sought/Request for Information notice. This posted notice is not a Pre-Solicitation or Solicitation document. The government is not currently soliciting bids, quotes or proposals at this time, however, reserves the right to do so at a later date. The Wilmington VA Medical Center is seeking to identify potential sources for future Brand Name or Equal requirement for a training device for augmented communication.
The brand name item for reference is Tobii Dynavox I-15+.
Equivalent products must have the following minimum required features:
The ability to utilize eye gaze/ eye tracking to activate
Must include the following features:
15.0 screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio and be LED backlit a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA)
The screen must have touch technology with projected capacitive touch using Coming Gorilla Glass utilizing 10-point multi touch
The unit must be integrated with both speakers and a microphone
The system must utilize an Intel Celeron Quad Core Processor with 4 GB DDR3 Ram and Microsoft Windows 10

Operating buttons to: turn on/off the wireless system; volume up/down; have menu for programming
Forward facing camera with 5 MP auto focus and camera facing user with 2 MP fixed focus.
