The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1 Network Contracting Activity intends to negotiate a sole source procurement, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, with AudioCARE Systems, 14356 Lancaster Avenue, Suite 260, Berwyn, PA 19312. The NAICS code is 541512 and the size standard is $25 million. The contract period will be from May 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010. This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties that can provide similar services or equal product must submit their technical specifications of product services, past performance information, price and delivery time, detailing how their services meet VA requirements to the contract specialist via e-mail. E-mail: [email protected] Statement of Work: It is necessary to upgrade the Boston Healthcare's AudioFax System from Audiocare at this time to maintain this necessary functionality. The existing system, Audiofax from Audiocare Systems, has an upgrade capability which will be fully compatible with our existing system and components of this system. Additional C-Talk interactive telephony software licenses are also available and we would like to add two of the upgraded system. This will require a software upgrade and appropriate hardware to operate the system The hardware and software necessary is: 1. an upgrade to the new windows 4-line system 2. Ability to accommodate 28 additional lines for the systems upgrade (hardware) 3. Automated Appointment Reminder system 4. Patient initiated appointment inquiry via telephone capability 5. Ability to fully interact with our existing Vista system through the current software 6. All of the software and hardware must be installed by the vendor 7.
