The Government intends to procure the latest versions of the following specific name brand items: COSMOS/Works Professional with COSMOS/FloWorks Standard Network software package (quantity 1), subscription service (quantity 1), SolidWorks Office Software Package (quantity 3), subscription service (quantity 3), and SolidNetWorks License (quantity 3). All items will include the manufacturer's standard commercial warranty. This procurement shall be done on a Limited Source Basis from authorized COSMOS resellers only. These items are required for the design and development of critical chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) protection systems and equipment. The CBR systems protection branch purchased a single seat of SolidWorks Office a year ago and requires the COSMOS/Works professional and COSMOS/FloWorks packages because they are used in conjunction with and are compatib le with the SolidWorks Office. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13). Award is anticipated to be made by 23 January 2003 and Delivery by 21 February 2003. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
