The Government intends to award on a sole source basis, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.1, a non-commercial item contract to Raytheon Company, 1801 Hughes Dr., Fullerton, CA 92833-2200, CAGE 1L3B8; for the purchase of two (2) MicroLight DH500 P/N #6139160-100, EPLRS equipment for the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA's). The EPLRS equipment is being procured through Raytheon which is the only manufacturer with the proprietary data for EPLRS Waveform. Raytheon Company is the only one known responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy or meet agency requirements. This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination and delivered and accepted at MCTSSA, Supply Officer, Bldg 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5171 no later than thirty (30) calendar days after contract award. If no affirmative written response is rec! eived within ten (3) calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Raytheon Company for the requirements stated herein.
