Question: How many cameras are presently installed and monitored by ONSSI system and how many images will be stored in the data base for retrieval? Answer: ONSSI currently monitors about 100 cameras. We will be adding 8 more before this contract is awarded. Question: The 20 cameras for critical wards and hospital entrances are not specified by make or model and we were wondering if any IP camera will suffice? Answer: The cameras for critical wards and hospital entrances need to be of high enough resolution to capture a person's facial image and allow the facial recognition software to use that image to find that person in our archived video according to testing section of the SOW. We use a lot of Axis cameras on our current system. Note that external cameras will be required for hospital entrances and we prefer fixed, not PTZ.
