Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to award a sole source contract to Gartner Inc., to provide IT Leaders Workgroup Essentials for OASA M AND RA CIV PERS SYS MGNT, 200 STOVALL ST HOFFMAN II RM 8N65, ALEXANDRIA VA 22332-0300. Period of performance 09/30/2013 - 9/29/2014. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on sole source basis with GARTNER, INC, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13, and FAR Part 52.219-6. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals within five (5) days, 13 August 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 13 August 2013, 11:00 AM EST, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
