NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Clin 0001- GNAT Pro cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2005) for PowerPC VxWorks 6.x (hosted on GNU Linux) p/n T5:Ada/VX6PPCLNX Qty. 1. Clin 0002- GNAT Pro native environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2005) for x86 GNU Linux (32 bits) p/n T5:Ada/X86LNX. Qty. 1. Required delivery is 7 days after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with ADA CORE Technologies INC. They are the only known source for these items because NUWC has been tasked to provide an update to the encapsulated harpoon command launch system (EHCLS). This is a Foreign Military System (FMS) product and will be an upgrade to existing software and hardware. Ada Core GNAT is targeted for use as the Ada compiler for the next generation of the system.
