HP ProLiant DL585 G2 Servers for Standing Joint Force Headquarters, US Joint Forces Command, Norfolk, VA. The purpose of this synopsis, pursuant to FAR SAP procedures, is to apprise that the configuration of each of the servers to be acquired includes the following open market items that the Government intends to include within the GSA order for the Servers. The Government intends to issue a single firm-fixed-price GSA order that includes the above open market items. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS, however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by the specified response date, and the Government will consider information received by the specified response date. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
