Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for ILOG CPLEX Development License Single Use PCWINNT/2000 Fixed and ILOG CPLEX Development Maintenance License (1 year) Single Use PCWINNT/2000 Fixed to ILOG, Inc., 889 Alder Ave, Suite 200, Incline Village, NV 89511. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210. This acquisition is to acquire additional licenses for the ILOG CPLEX Software. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because the introduction of alternate software would require complete re-training of developers, maintainers, and users which would not be a sound technical, security, or fiscal decision.
