The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Motorola under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-04-JMT-0041. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is to provide Land Mobile Radio equipment to be compatible with an existing proprietary system already in use for USAFE, Germany. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received by close of business, 2/2/04 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
