The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to DiMedia ? Digital Media GmbH. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 6TSA-02-JMT-0192. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-14. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for broadcast quality video, professional photographs and the USAREUR web page to provide Command Information to the military and DOD communities. The equipment must be state of the art, digital imaging and non-linear editing system that is critical for the sharing, transfer and broadcast of mission essential information for HA USAREUR. DiMedia meets the crucial requirements of 24 hour turnaround, trade in, tailoring and configuring of equipment for HQ USAREUR, Germany. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The government will consider all information received by close of business 8/1/2002. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
