Notice of Intent This ?Notice of Intent? is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued; however, all proposals received prior to the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to award a sole source contract to Column Technologies Inc for Jaspersoft Pro Premium Subscription Maintenance and Support for the Office of Energy Statistics (EI-20) Office of Survey Support and Application Management (OSSAM) in the Energy Information Administration (EIA). EIA is to procure software licenses to support OSSAM?s business transformation capabilities. Jaspersoft BI?s is a primary product used to support this transformational effort. Jaspersoft BI is a widely used and accepted open sourced business intelligence platform and provides the flexibility necessary to meet EIA?s requirement. This limited source justification is based on a period of performance of one (1) year. In accordance with FAR 8.405-6 (1)(i)(B) limited source is authorized when there one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
