The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below:

Brand Name BrightBeam Ultra or Equal - Laser Light - Quantity of One

Product must be able to support Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) pertaining to Forensic Latent Print Examination.

The salient characteristics for a Forensic Latent Print Examination LASER System:

Low/no speckle green forensic LASER, providing consistent monochromatic light at 532 nm at 7 watts of power.
Provide remote operation capabilities on the light emitting hand piece.
Compact, durable unit with dimensions smaller than 10 quote mark x 10 quote mark x 8 quote mark
Lightweight not to exceed 16 lbs to include batteries.
Ability to produce low thermal discharge during operation.
Keyed safety interlock which prevents accidental activation of LASER.
Adjustable wattage output and variable 10 degree, 20 degree and 40 degree diffusers.
Provide an armored 2m long fiber optic umbilical between the portable LASER and the light emitting hand piece.
Provide an on-board battery and charger for portability.
Provide three spare batteries.
Provide hardened all-weather travel case.

You must meet or exceed the stated specifications.



Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail.
