The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis renewal maintenance of the LYNXOS software support from Lynuxworks, 6701 Democracy Blvd, Suite 300 Bethesda, MD 20817. Lynuxworks is the sole developer of this software and holds the proprietary data rights. The NAICS Code is 541511 with a size standard of $18 million. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract for a 12-month period ending September 2004. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used for the acquisition of Commercial items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number is N00178-03-Q-1068. Anticipated issuance date is 16 September 2003.
