The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis renewal maintenance of the LYNXOS software support from Lynuxworks, 6701 Democracy Blvd, Suite 300 Bethesda, MD 20817. Lynuxworks is the sole developer of this software and holds the proprietary data rights. The NAICS Code is 541511 with a size standard of $21 million. The contract shall be a firm fixed price contract consisting of the Basic effort that is 6 months in duration and 4 one year in length Options. This is a commercial buy in ! accordance with FAR Part 12. The solicitation number is N00178-05-R-1010. Anticipated issuance date is 14 January 2005. Interested parties other than Lynuxworks must be able to demonstrate their capability to perform this effort in writing by 7 January 2005.
