The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Comcast Cablevision of Maryland, 8110 Corporate Place, 3rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21236 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the continued maintenance and support of the CATV Port Distribution System and related accessories. Support shall be required for one year. These Ports are installed throughout all buildings across the SSA campus and outlying buildings in Baltimore, MD. This is not a request for quotes; quotes submitted in response to this notice will not be considered. Interested parties that believe they can provide the required service must respond to this notice no later than 12:00 p.m. EST October 10th, 2006. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to SSA-RFQ-07-1052.
