The government wishes to purchase the following: 6ea, Epson PowerLite 821P LCD Projector (or equivalent); 6ea, Epson Sampsonite Wheeled soft Carrying Case (or equivalent); and, 6ea, Epson Ceiling Mount (or equivalent). If quoting equivalent model, th e item must have a user adjustable fan speed for use in elevations up to 7500 ft. Unit must operate at 2600 ANSI Lumens or better, have whisper quite operation (36db/30db), conveniently placed lamp and air filter (on top of the projector) to allow easy rep lacement even when mounted on the ceiling. The projector must have brightness control function for various settings to extend lamp life (lamp must operate 3000 hours in low brightness mode and 2000 hours in high brightness mode). The projector must be equi pped with password protection security features and operation lock to protect against theft or unauthorized use. It must be suitable for large conference rooms and classrooms, be bright enough for use with lights on, operate with a XGA (1024 x 768) resolut ion for vibrant images and precision color and detail, be equipped with 1.6x optical zoom and be equipped with great audio and connectivity (minimum 5W audio, audio out, two computer and two video inputs with a dedicated audio input for each). Additional f eatures should include easy set-up (color-coded cables and on-screen menus, etc.), power on/off beeps, quick start up time, auto source search function with display, automatic keystone correction (+/- 15 degrees) without need for manual adjustments, monit or out capability to display images on monitor and screen simultaneously, and must include a full function remote control . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items appl y to this acquisition. Best Value to the Government will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offe ror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
