The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) is seeking information on sources that can provide the Army with the development of a device that can be tethered to the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment(HIIDE(tm))Integrated into a Biome tric Automated Toolset(Government off-the-shelf software). BAT integrates commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software into a biometric enrollment and data repository system. The BAT system currently incorporates three biometric capture devices: Facal recognition, iris recognition and fingerprint recognition. The Government's goal is to acquire a prototype (designed, developed and implemented) that will provide multi-modal biometric collection capabilities into the HIIDE(handheld device)-tethered (with limited off-tethered capabilities) to a windows based Personal Computer.
