KCVA Pathology & Laboratory Medicine has a requirement for purchase of a cassette labeling system equal to the Printmate 450. Vendor shall supply a system that provides the following. Cassette Printer must have the following features; a. Capability to print linear and 2D barcodes b. Hold at least six (6) cassette hoppers. c. Eye readable accession number must be visible d. Must be compatible with STAT LAB Cassettes e. Barcodes must be resistant to chemical smudging. Computer package must include: a. Label printing software capable of printing 2D barcodes & linear barcodes b. Must have potential to interface with VISTA or Cerner Software at a later date The contractor will provide and install label printer, computer and software and any other required ancillary items for the Kansas City, MO, VA Medical Center. Operation/service manuals will be provided. Contractor will provide a basic operator training on the functions of the labeler and the computer software. Contractor shall provide list of current users. Contractor shall also provide length of time required for delivery and installation after receipt of purchase order. The Government is particularly interested in hearing from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses but would also like to hear from other Small Businesses as well as Large Businesses.
