This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ERDC Contracting Office intends to solicit on competitive basis under the authority of FAR 13.5. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later 11:00 am CST on 31 Mar 2010. This proposed effort will be on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, and is solely within the discretion of the government.
