This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-08-Q-2363. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items sole source from Sabtech Industries, Yorba Linda, CA: 8 ea. PN SW-02102-01 PCI Swift Tpe A.B.C.H, 64K FIFO, Standard NTDS interface Boards and 8 ea. PN TB-11280-00 Cable Interface Module, 2 x 80 Hearders. Required delivery is within 8 weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with Sabtech Industries as they are the only known source for these items because these boards are currently used on board submarine combat systems and must the same as currently in use for compatibility purposes in terms of form, fit and function.
