The Schrödinger software will be used for the purposes of molecular modeling, drug discovery, and molecular visualization on the Cray XD-1 supercomputer. The Cray XD-1 supercomputer is configured using the LINUX operating system. The Schrodinger software runs natively on the Cary XD-1 and is the only software that will take advantage of the Cray's ability to use many microprocessors instantaneously.
